Being on a Klouter Team is participating in an opportunity to strive toward tomorrow’s successes in the lives of our children and families. It means to work together to develop good solid skills in order to be a productive citizen, loving spouse, and caring parent. It means teaching and learning skills/habits that provide the best opportunity for success in all that we attempt to do. It means enjoying our success but also entails learning to recover from our individual and team setbacks…to try to get better and to find peace with non-success! The Klouters actively promote and teach selflessness, setting a good example, and providing leadership and support for each other. Moreover, it is about networking and cooperating with quality people who share common ideals and goals, and providing quality educational/life opportunities for the youngsters so they learn and grow up with viable skill sets/values.

A strong focus with the Klouter teams and extended family is setting a good example and doing the “right” thing while playing baseball. The program creates a safe and educational environment in which the players may take risks and experience both success and failure; it will teach them much about themselves and what it takes to achieve their goals. Baseball is a game of fallibility and learning to deal with making mistakes. The “lessons of baseball are the lessons of life”: neither is fair but both provide a learning ground for all the characteristics needed to be a productive, successful, and happy citizen! The discipline of baseball and other sport(s) is a process that allow youngsters to learn that accountability, responsibility, decision-making, problem-solving, and hard work are the true “tools” of success. Moreover, opportunity to succeed and fail will be constant, and learning to deal with fear, frustration, and “failure” may be overcome with discipline, behaviorial change, and practice. A Klouter is one who tries hard, works hard, will never quit, and has fun in the process!!! No talent or prior experience is needed to compete, to hustle and to play team ball…we will out hustle, outwork, and intimidate our opponents, win or lose! We will be prepared and steadfast in our mission to be a strong team with realizable goals.
